Algebra

This week 10.11 learned Algebra.
I booked into the workshop with Mr A and here is what we had to do:

So there was a snail stuck in a well 26 metres deep and in the first hour he went up 5 metres but then the next hour he dropped 2, back and forth. Our task was to track on a spreadsheet how many hours did it take for the snail to get to the top, the spreadsheet kinda looked like this:

As you can see it took 15 hours for the snail to climb up the 26 metre well.

And that is a part of algebra.

P.E

This week 10.11 was introduced to a game (on the field) that includes Throwing, Catching and Kicking, Here is how to play
WARNING BEFORE YOU READ ON YOU MUST KNOW THAT THIS MIGHT MAKE NO SENSE.
So you go into groups of like 10 or 11 and there is a fielder team and a kicking team, you create a circle with cones except the cones are spaced out and you will also need three bouncy balls . So the fielder team spaces out and the kicking team lines up a bit back from the other team so the first kicker walks up to the three balls and kicks all of them meanwhile the fielders try to run after the balls and bring all of them back to were the kicker kicked meanwhile the kicker runs up to the first cone or even keeps running to the next cone because the balls arent all at home. Then if the kicker manages to get to the first cone without the balls all being back then the team gets a point, then when the next kicker comes up and kicks then starts running to the cone in the meantime the first kicker starts running when the 2 person starts running and son on.
